Concrete Grind Pro was established over six years ago with a simple goal: deliver concrete grinding and polishing that customers can actually rely on. Behind the company sits more than fifteen years of hands-on industry experience, earned on everything from single residential garages to large commercial and industrial floors across New Zealand.
Jay started the business because he'd seen how the industry too often works: a polished salesperson quotes the job, then a rotating cast of subcontractors turns up to do it, and the finish you were promised quietly becomes the finish you got. Concrete Grind Pro was built as the opposite of that. The person who walks your slab and shakes your hand is the person running the grinder.
Six years on, the model hasn't changed. The equipment has grown, the service list has grown, and the project count keeps climbing, but every job still gets the same thing it got on day one: the owner, on the tools, seeing it through.
When you get in touch, you talk to the team, not a call centre. When your quote is prepared, Jay has walked the slab himself: checked its hardness, its condition, and what it can honestly become. When the machines arrive, he's running them. And when the job's handed over, he's the one walking the finished floor with you.

Home base is Auckland, and most weeks you'll find us anywhere from Warkworth to the airport. We regularly service Whangārei, Hamilton, Tauranga and Taranaki, and for larger commercial projects we travel nationwide. We were among the early adopters of Hiper Trowel technology in New Zealand, which is how floors of 1,000 to 10,000+ square metres get finished in a fraction of the traditional time, with the labour saving passed on to the client.
